It is wholly owned by Rajah & Tann Singapore, a leading full-service law firm in Singapore and one of the largest in South East Asia. Rajah & Tann Singapore is a member firm of Rajah & Tann Asia, a network of over 700 lawyers in 10 countries in Asia.

 

RTTech is the NewLaw vehicle for Rajah & Tann Asia to adapt itself and provide new legal delivery models and deliverables to meet clients’ demands in the digital economy.

We are looking for dynamic and driven individuals to join our growing multidisciplinary team of allied legaltech professionals.

1. e-Discovery Senior Consultant / Manager / Senior Manager

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Introduce our eDiscovery and digital forensics capabilities to prospective clients;

  • Support/manage assigned engagements while working closely with lawyers, service providers, subject matter experts and clients’ representatives;

  • Handles data collection & preservation of evidence, data transfer, processing and uploading of data onto an eDiscovery review platform;

  • Responsible in providing excellent client service including technical and operational eDiscovery support;

  • Actively participate in business development, staff recruitment & retention and provide coaching/mentorship to new recruits;

  • Provide eDiscovery and digital forensics advisory services when required; and 

  • Support continuous improvement of our eDiscovery and digital forensics processes and methodology.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in eDiscovery, digital forensics and/or litigation support for consultant positions. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience for manager and above;

  • Degree in Law, Information Systems, CyberSecurity or related field;

  • Ability to deliver within agreed timelines and to manage multiple engagements concurrently;

  • Good project management skills and competent in the drafting of reports;

  • Experienced with Nuix, Relativity, Cellebrite, EnCase & Axiom are beneficial; and

  • Proactively identify issues and propose solutions in a timely manner.

2. Legaltech Consultant

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Introduce our suite of solutions and service capabilities to prospective clients;

  • Support/manage assigned engagements while working closely with lawyers, service Providers, subject matter experts and clients’ representatives;

  • Manage projects and collaborations with new legal technology solutions and products;

  • Support the development of standard guides, market research, brochures and events, where necessary;

  • Communicate with internal clients and law firms, e.g. preparation of quotes for prospective work, conflict checks, etc.;

  • Handles data collection & preservation of evidence, data transfer, processing and overall project management on a case by case basis;

  • Responsible in providing excellent client service including technical and operational support;

  • Actively participate in business development, staff recruitment & retention and provide coaching/mentorship to new recruits; and

  • Support continuous improvement of our legal technology processes and methodology.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of professional work experience in a legal, advisory or compliance environment;

  • Degree in Law, Information Systems, Finance or related field;

  • Ability to deliver within agreed timelines and to manage multiple engagements concurrently;

3. Legal Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and development of algorithms and workflows to improve legal solutions, products or features;

  • Design and architect new legal solutions, products or features taking into account the requirements of the stakeholders;

  • Documentation which clearly explains how algorithms have been implemented, verified and validated;

  • Use software engineering best practices in programming, testing, version control, agile development, etc.;

  • Data extraction, cleaning and report building;

  • Communicating programme progress, escalations, and issue analysis to key stakeholders;

  • Developing client facing services, i.e. client extranets and portals; and 

  • Ongoing project management and maintain a positive team environment.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in law, information systems, computer engineering or equivalent;

  • At least 3 years of experience in legal services, data analytics, system engineer or similar role preferable;

  • Ability to interpret and analyse data from multiple sources and build systems and reports that solve business problems;

  • Proactively identify issues and opportunities and propose solutions in a timely manner;

  • Project management skills are beneficial; and

  • Basic knowledge in programming is beneficial.

4. Interactive Learning Designer (Contract)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging graphics, videos and interactive content to engage learners on our eLearning platform;

  • Brainstorm and assist in storyboarding and development of eLearning courseware for effective learning;

  • Maintain the firm's website, social media accounts, eLearning platform;

  • Perform functional testing of eLearning content to ensure quality standards and client requirements are met; and

  • Any other duties as may be assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, or relevant disciplines

  • 1-3 years of experience as designer with a strong portfolio

  • Proficient in graphic design, video editing, motion graphics work using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects)

  • Experience in using Articulate or any other SCORM compliant e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems is highly beneficial

5. Legaltech Sales Director

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a small sales team to attain monthly sales quota and meet required sales activity levels, including, but not limited to: contacting prospective customers by telephone, cold call premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, customer appointments, etc.;

  • Develop and implement sales plans that provide clearly defined strategies, tactics, and timeframes to maximize performance;

  • Provide accurate and detailed sales forecast of identified and proposed opportunities ensuring sales quota attainment;

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services including features, benefits, changes, applications, ability to be customized, and how to effectively distinguish them from competitor offerings and position them to meet customers’ needs. Understand and adapt to constantly changing products in a perpetually changing industry;

  • Responsible in providing excellent client service including technical and operational support; and

  • Spearhead continuous improvement of our legal technology processes and methodology.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in successfully leading and closing new business opportunities;

  • Experience in implementing sales strategies that further the department's agenda and drives enhanced revenue generation for the business;

  • Natural ability to build into relationships with new people;

  • Ability to resolve client issues smoothly and effectively;

6. Legaltech Sales Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services including features, benefits, changes, applications, ability to be customized, and how to effectively distinguish them from competitor offerings and position them to meet customers’ needs. Understand and adapt to constantly changing products in a perpetually changing industry;

  • Close sales engagements with customers by gaining commitment to implement the value-adding solution(s);

  • Partner with customers through strategic and consultative sales approach to understand their business needs, issues, strategies, and priorities to deliver a value-adding business solution;

  • Prepare and present professional proposals specific to customer needs and that align with their goals, critical success factors, and strategic vision ultimately moving them toward the purchase. Compile sales proposal documents and ensure proper documentation is completed;

  • Manage projects and collaborations with new legal technology solutions and products;

  • Communicate with internal clients and law firms, e.g. preparation of quotes for prospective work, conflict checks, etc.;

  • Responsible in providing excellent client service including technical and operational support;

  • Actively participate in business development and support Sales Director’s mandate;

  • Participate in internal team meetings to collaborate with supporting ecosystem on opportunities, resolve customer issues, share best practices, and work with cross functional teams; and

  • Support continuous improvement of our legal technology processes and methodology.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in a Customer Success, Relationship Management, Account Management, or similar role;

  • Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment;

  • Strength in building and maintaining relationships, while working to mitigate churn and drive adoption, renewal, and expansion;

  • Strong customer-facing skills;

  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations;

  • Ambition, goal-oriented for growth;

  • Superior time management and productivity skills;

  • Exceptional communication skills, highly organized, collaborative and detail-oriented;

  • Experienced with leading legal technology solution is preferred;

  • Ability to speak comfortably with clients or partners in a variety of different mediums, building relationship while having a good attention to detail; and

  • Demonstrated ability to build productive working relationships across a sales organization and related teams;

  • Demonstrated experience selling complex business applications/technology solutions at the C-Suite level; and
