This masterclass is a specialized program designed to introduce legal executives and para-legal workers to the concepts of foundation models and prompt engineering. The course aims to demonstrate how generative AI can revolutionize legal workflows and tasks through AI assistants. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the mechanisms and capabilities of large language models (LLMs) and learn to use prompt engineering effectively to enhance productivity and efficiency.
The masterclass includes a detailed exploration of LLMs' abilities to perform tasks like summarization, classification, and extraction, simplifying various aspects of legal work. The course will present numerous use cases and offer hands-on exercises to use generative AI effectively for legal work.

Philip Teng
CTO, PPIC Technologies
Philip is an engineer and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience at DSO National Laboratories, specialising in Unmanned and Space Systems. A recipient of the Defence Technology Training Award, he holds a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
As Founder and CTO of CoolRIOTS and PPIC Technologies, he leads AI-driven workflow orchestration and tech consultancy. He also architects the BeX AI Platform for complex automation.
A passionate educator since 2009, Philip trains professionals at PaCE@NTU and Knowledgecom Malaysia, focusing on Generative AI, Industry 4.0, IoT, and real-time systems.

Rajesh is Chairman of the National Accreditation Committee for Data and Digital Economy at the Singapore Academy of Law. He conducts lectures, seminars, and discussions regularly at international forums on IT, digital media, digital forensics, telecoms and other issues related to the new economy.
